Stephen – General Manager
Stephen started in the cleaning industry in 1980, operating a business doing builders’ cleans for Dempsey Morton and operating a number of commercial contracts. In 1985 he sold this business and commenced a 25 year career with Mitre 10.
He owned his own Mitre 10 store for 8 years and after selling it, worked as development manager for the Hammer Hardware group.
In 2005 Stephen came back into the cleaning industry firstly as General Manager of a carpet and restoration business and then set up his own business, Auckland Carpet Cleaners in 2008.
Starting from nothing Stephen has built this business into a successful floor care business, specialising in carpet and hard floor maintenance.
In 2012 Stephen restructured Auckland Carpet Cleaners into a division of TCS Cleaning Limited, combining with his wife’s successful domestic and commercial cleaning business.
Stephen has served on the board of two corporate companies and has worked as a small business mentor in Auckland. He has studied and achieved qualifications with IICRC . The IICRC is an internationally recognised body for the cleaning and restoration industry.

Stephen has the responsibility for managing our client relationships and is responsible for proposal & contract preparation and pricing, health & safety management and business development.
Stephen loves watching sport, he has been a rugby referee, a netball coach (children) and currently a soccer coach. Other activities he enjoys are aviaculture, fishing, gardening, and cooking .
Jane – Operations/Financial Manager
Jane started her own commercial cleaning 2003 after spending a year working for a small cleaning company. She quickly expanded her business by focusing on attention to detail and excellent client relations. Many of Jane’s clients have been with her since the beginning.
Jane has a strong understanding of clients needs and sets high standards from her staff that creates the difference from her business and many competitors.
Jane’s management skills have enabled her take on specialty projects such as the annual ASB Bank branches’ spring cleans and various viral outbreaks in rest homes throughout Auckland.
Jane is responsible for day to day operations, employing and training staff, client relations and oversees the finances of the business.
Jane studied at university achieving a Degree in Sociology and Diploma in Business Marketing. She worked in the cleaning industry during this period and realised the potential a well run cleaning business can have.
Jane enjoys is a devotee of yoga, pilates and enjoys walking. She also enjoys sewing and shopping.
Both Jane and Stephen like to travel in New Zealand and overseas and meeting like minded travellers.
